The Rachel and Selim Benin School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hebrew University is launching a dedicated B.Sc. emphasis track in artificial intelligence. The program is designed for students who want to understand how AI systems actually work, not just how to use them.

What the program covers

  • Year 1 builds the mathematical foundation: calculus, linear algebra, probability, discrete math, data structures.
  • Year 2 develops the toolkit: algorithms, computational complexity, foundations of machine learning, and substantial programming projects.
  • Year 3 specializes: deep learning, computer vision, NLP, reinforcement learning, AI safety.

Graduates go on to M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs at HUJI and abroad, or research and engineering roles at companies on the AI frontier.
