Our Mission
The AI Hub at the Rachel and Selim Benin School of Computer Science and Engineering serves as the central node for AI activity at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. We connect researchers across disciplines, train the next generation of AI practitioners, and bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications.
What We Do
- Research coordination — connecting faculty across eight research domains, from machine perception to human-centered AI
- Academic programs — BSc, MSc, and PhD tracks with AI specialization
- Industry partnerships — technology transfer, startup incubation, and collaborative research
- Public engagement — making AI research accessible and its implications understood
The School
The Rachel and Selim Benin School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hebrew University is one of Israel's leading CS departments, with decades of foundational contributions to machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and theoretical computer science.
